Sweet Home Chicago

We traveled home for the first time just in time for

Memorial Day. Seeing the American flag and hearing

our anthem at the Cubs game meant so much more now after living in a

foreign country.

As all of you know, I miss my cats terribly and it was
great to get to spend some time with them. This is Sebastian
with Derek and I.

Here is my beautiful Chloe - posing as usual.

I was also lucky enough to meet Elizabeth Anne Work.

Katie and family drove up from Louisville for a visit!

Here we are saying goodbye. We had a great time with Katie

Jesse and Lizzie. Lizzie was a great traveler and such a happy baby!

We were also lucky enough to be able to catch up with almost

all of my friends from dental hygiene school. My good friend

Kelly on the lower right was nice enough to host a little get

together and all the girls made a yummy taco bar! Mmmmmm!

I don't get that in London!

And you can see how much fun we all have
when we get together! Tara is a laugh a minute!
I miss you guys!

Then we finally made it to downtown Chicago and had

an amazing dinner at Sepia with good friends. Here is a

picture of me with Jessica and Laura.

And now for the main event! Two of our very good friends
were getting married and we were honored to be asked to stand
up. Here is the amazingly beautiful bride - Jaclyn.

And here is the very handsome groom, Joe, with all of the ladies!

Another great pic of Kristin and me!

And Here are all of the boys.

More fun pictures of great friends! This is me
with Danielle and Jenn.

Finally, the Bride and Groom together!

After Derek left and went back to London I stayed
to help Melissa celebrate her birthday. Happy birthday baby!

And I had to see Sex & The City! I went with my
sis Barb and friend Jessica. So much fun! I cried the whole movie
thinking about how much my friends mean to me and
how much I miss them all!

We can't forget the family! We had a great dinner

at Carnivale. Thanks for everything that you do

for us while we are overseas! And we can't wait for

you to come to London!

It was a whirlwind trip but we were able

to see almost everyone we wanted to. We had an

amazing time visiting with everyone and catching up.

Thanks again to everyone who hosted us! See you soon!

Love to all,

Leah and Derek

Hi Kiddos,
It is always nice to be home and I hope you get there often.
You have been in more weddings than any one else I know!
Keep on living it up. No time like the present.
Love and hugs,
Aunt Barb

It was so wonderful to get to spend time with you guys! It always seems like it is not long enough! I am just truly happy that you were able to see Lizzie. She changes so much everyday!

Love you always!
