More visitors!

We were lucky enough to have family come visit for New Years!
Derek's sisters Anne and Stacy arrived on the December 30th.
London was their first stop on a 3 week long European tour.

Here they are arriving at Heathrow!

Derek had to go to work so I decided to take the

girls for some caffeine and a tour of Kensington
Gardens and Hyde Park. We had to stop for this
great photo op!

In Kensington Gardens we have VERY friendly
squirrels - as Anne found out.

A little further on our walk we came across

the Albert Memorial.


The next day we went to the Tower of London.

I am on a quest to be the first American tour guide

at the tower. Just kidding - but I am getting good after
my four visits this year. I am sure I will be back!

It was on to the Queen's Walk and this
is the best venue for great pictures with

the Tower Bridge.

Here they are - the Beckmans in London!
You can see our limited amount of sunlight this
time of year - this is in the middle of the afternoon!


We stopped for a late lunch and Stacy

went for the fish and chips. What trip
to London would be complete without that?

Anne decided to try a meat pie with
a Magners cider.


We walked home over London bridge.

We are in a rush to get ready for our New Year's
Eve cruise on the Thames...
