For Derek's birthday we went to Cinque Terre, Italy.
Here we are relaxing at a beachside cafe.
Later that night we went to a fabulous restaurant
called Miky's. We had super fresh fish and Drake loved
it. He also spent the night flirting with the wait staff.
Drake did not like being in the sling facing me. He
wanted to see out! But this was how we had to get around at
times so he delt with it!
Pesto originated from this area in Italy. They were
making in it vats. Yum yum! Drake was a fan as well.
I thought this was one of the prettiest towns.

Talk about minding the gap! That was huge!
Drake could not decide what he wanted to eat - the trofie
al pesto or the fresh lobster ravioli. In the end he ate whatever
we gave him. He loves food!

These locks are all along the Villa dell'Amore. Tradition as it that if
you lock one of these with your lover on this scenic path you will be
together forever.
