Drake's Birthday!

Back in Chicago with Barb and Shaun! Grandma and Grandpa

Hegerle graciously volunteered to babysit and we got to go

to the much talked about restaurant The Girl and the Goat.

It was one of the best meals that I have ever had! I highly recommend

it to anyone living in and or visiting Chicago. I am counting down the days

until I can go back. Thanks Barb and Shaun!

Yes, Drake is getting more teeth!

Here is the cake for Drake's big day. From Deerfield's Bakery,

of course! As you will soon see it was a huge hit!

All Drake wanted to do was walk with Grandma Beckman.

We were so lucky to have so many friends come out for

Drake's birthday. This is Erika with Beth and Ayla.

Drake destroyed his cake. He takes after his mama. Cake

is definitely my favorite dessert!

Hmmm, let's see if I can get more of this yummy stuff

in my mouth. Who needs hands or silverware. The direct route

is much more efficient!

Done with licking the tray so I will lick my plate -

while it is still completely socially acceptable.

As one can imagine that took about 30 minute to clean up.

He even managed to get the cake in his diaper.
