We stayed in the 16 arrondissement, right by the Arc de Triomphe!
Our tour started at the bottom of the hill next to the Moulin Rouge!

We made our way all the way up to the top of the hill to see Sacre-Coeur.
Our tour guide was amazingly informative and we really learned a lot about this

And here I am on our second day doing some much needed retail therapy.
I could not go to Paris and not shop on the Ave. des Champs-Elysees!
This is the Louis Vuitton mothership as they call it.

Then we made our way over to the Latin Quarter.
I know you all know where we are now. Notre-Dame still takes
my breath away! It is truely amazing and something to experience
in life.
On our third day we made our way over to la Tour Eiffel!
Again, still amazing and jaw dropping! I am trying to improve my photograghy
and this is one of my favorite pictures from the trip.
There is so much to do in this wonderful city. We barely skimmed the surface.

It was a little cold over the weekend. I know I should not complain
seeing what my friends and family are going through in Chicago.
But it was the coldest it has been since we moved to Europe. So, after this we went shopping again. We checked out the Marais. Most of the little boutiques were open.
This was a relief since most of Paris shuts down on Sunday.

We had a wonderful time on our return to Paris! I can't wait to go back
when it is warm and hang out at all of the cafes and see more!

Love to all, miss you!

Oh my,
I loved Paris too. It looks as though you covered a lot of ground and had nice weather.
No mention of food and pastry shops?
We visited many museums which were breath taking.
Can't wait for your next trip.
Love,
Aunt Barb
