St Moritz

We went to St Moritz for the weekend with our
good friends Brooke and Scott Martyn. This
was out first night enjoying an Italian meal
with Proseco. Mmmm.

The next morning I looked out our window on
to this beautiful site. The Alps are so beautiful!

Then it was time to ski. I was really nervous
considering it had been two years since I was
last on skis. This Brooke, Scoot and me.

Funny thing was it was two years exactly to the date.
I was in St Moritz the exactly same weekend two years
prior. This is Brooke, Derek and Me.

Much to my surprise I did well! I officially have
my skis parallel and can turn without falling!
Now it is time to master my ski poles or sticks as
my Italian instructor called them! Goodbye to
snowplow!!

Here are some amazing photos from the top
of St Moritz...

No matter how scared of heights I am
the Alps still take my breath away!

Ahhh - beautiful!

Derek and Scott took these pictures as Brooke
and I can not go up this high yet!

That night we went to the beautiful Palace Hotel
for dinner and cocktails.

Derek and I at dinner.

Scott, Brooke, me and Derek at the King's
Club for cocktails afterward.

The next day Brooke and I went on a hike and the
boys went skiing. We met them at Piz Nair, the
highest point in St Moritz - 10,000 feet!

I am not liking the height - yikes!!

On our way down Brooke and I found the Heineken
tent/club. It was hilarious in here. There were
people dancing around in their ski boots and having a
blast. We even thought we spotted Prince Harry.
No such luck though - just a really good look-a-like.

I love taking pictures of myself and friends.
This one turned out great!

That night we went in search of the best
white truffle pasta I have ever had.
Two years ago Derek and I went to a
restaurant in town and I have not been able to stop
talking about it ever since. We found it!
Yum yum!!

The next day we took the Glacier Express
back to Zurich. What a breathtaking ride.
Here are some amazing pictures from our
decent in the train...

This is my favorite picture! Scott snapped this one.
It looks like something out of a fairytale. We
were actually on that train!
I want to thank Brooke and Scott again for putting
our trip together! We had a blast! Hope to see you
soon in London, Zurich or maybe a new location!
